The Lagos State House Committee on Education has fulfilled their promises:
* *Committee to determine the viability of the Polytechnic to pay CONTISS 15 Migration arrears has sat and report generated favourably with AVAILABLE FUND to commence payment with at least 12 months arrears.*
* *Pronounced that our arrears are legitimate and a must pay*
* We are equally aware of the Sogunro's Administration to thwart the efforts of the House Committee on Education. Also, the Rector's renewed effort to victimize Union leaders and their members.
Sequel to our resolution at the last Congress and the Rector's ADAMANT POSTURE in acceding to our demands, ALL MEMBERS are hereby directed to proceed on a TOTAL AND INDEFINITE STRIKE effective today 1st August 2017.
The Strike/Protest Strategic Committee will reel out details of actions later today to back up the strike. Meanwhile all members in Lagos should assemble at the Isolo and Surulere Campuses respectively, while all members in Ikorodu should assemble at Ikorodu Campus for action.
